Frequently Asked Questions
-
What are the dates of the trip?
Our next trip is May 12-22 of 2019.
-
How many people will you take on each trip?
We want this trip to be personal and intimate so therefore we will only take about 10 people.
-
Are you the only tour leader on this trip?
No, I always have an assistant with me, but I will be your personal guide, 24/7.
-
What if I don't know anyone going on this trip? Will I still have a good time?
Many of the people who join us don't know anyone else. We all become like one big family and it is a great way to make new
friends :-)
-
Who decides who will be roommates? And what if I want a single room?
You will decide who is your roommate. We will have a number of pre-departure meetings where you will meet the other travelers and you
can decide then. If you would prefer to have a single room, we can accommodate you for an additional cost.
-
What do I need to do to participate?
If you would like to participate, then a non-refundable $500 deposit is due as soon as possible to save your seat. This
deposit secures you a spot on the trip. This is on a first come, first serve basis. Once we are full, we will start a waiting list.
-
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining balance is due two months before we depart.
-
Do I need medical insurance while abroad?
Yes. You will be required to purchase travel medical insurance. It will cover you from the day we depart to the day we
return. I will arrange that for you. It is not very expensive.
-
Do I need a passport to travel to Italy?
Yes, you will need to apply for a passport. You can apply for one in a number of places, but the closest and easiest is
the Post Office at Olympic Drive. They have the applications there and they also can take your passport photos as well. It may
take up to 6 weeks and as it gets closer to spring, it may take even longer. It is better to just get it now…it is valid for 10 years!·
-
Do I need any shots, immunizations or Visas to travel to Italy?
There are NO shots, immunizations, or Visas necessary to travel to Italy.
