Your "Girlfriend " Guide Through Italy
My name is Thea Ellenberg and I am an Italian-American with dual citizenship, and I am fluent in Italian. I am married to my wonderful husband for 15 years. I have 11 year old triplets and a 13 year old daughter. I am a maternity, newborn, and family photographer in the Athens, GA area. I want to give you more of an idea of who I am and why Italy means so much to me. So here is the "Italy" part of my life in a nutshell:
EDUCATION:

I studied a semester of architecture in Florence, Italy, with Syracuse University

I received a Thesis Research Travel Grant from Cornell University and spent a summer in Italy doing research
WORK:

I lived, taught English, and worked with an architect in Florence for two years

I was a tour guide with a tour company in NY that traveled to six European countries

After I moved to GA, I organized and led my first tour through Italy

Teaching with UGA, I taught Interior Design in Verona, Italy, for five summers

As Interior Design Program Chair, I proposed and created Athens Tech's first study abroad program ever

I organized and led travel tours with Athens Tech for three years
